This month leading up to the Unified Symposium in Sacramento California, I'll be selecting a product each day from our 2014 Unified Guide that I think is noteworthy. Since I am not a winemaker, criteria is based on marketing appeal and what I think would be useful in the field.

Today's product comes from Infaco (booth #642) and is a battery-operated pruning shear. I choose this product  because it's the time of year to be out in the vineyards preparing your vines for spring. In their video, Andy Mitchell from Hahn Family Wines gives us a nice rundown of how these electric pruners improve efficiency in their vineyards.

You can find the full write up and video from Infaco in our Unified Guide here.
