The “Pairing Words and Wine” Winemaker’s Seminar was held Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at the former location of COPIA, located at 500 First Street in Downtown Napa. The seminar offered a fresh take on the wine business, featuring a panel of leaders from the next generation of wine professionals, including author of Rock and Vine: Next Generation Changemakers in America's Wine County, Chelsea Prince. Those featured in the book were also on hand to share their insight and approach to the wine industry. The panel discussion was followed by a special wine tasting and book signing with the author and subjects of Rock and Vine.

The panel, led by Chelsea Prince, included Angelina Mondavi from Dark Matter Wines, Jordan Kivelstadt from Free Flow Wines and Kivelstadt Cellars, Tony Leonardini from BNA Wine Group, Danny Fay from Envolve Winery and Maggie Pramuk from Robert Biale Vineyards. "The Napa Valley Wine Library weekend exemplified the living legacy of the 51-year old organization while presenting a stage for the next voices of the valley," said Prince. "It was a taste of what's been and what's to come from the region—and the passion and innovation among vintners transcends generations." Chelsea Prince, Rock & Vine publisher
