Postings Down 3 Percent from January 2012
SONOMA, CA—Winejobs.com released a report detailing wine job posting trends as of January 2013. The index indicates that job postings by wineries in January decreased 3 percent from January 2012, but were 42 percent higher than January 2011.
The decrease in the winery job index for January was driven by a decrease in sales and marketing jobs. The sales and marketing job index decreased 18 percent from January 2012, but is 46 percent above January 2011.
The winemaking index increased 4 percent from January 2012, and is 26 percent above January 2011.
The hospitality index increased 23 percent from January 2012, and was 45 percent above January 2011.
