For the third consecutive year, Gallo Family Vineyards is helping to feed the hungry via its Every Cork Counts campaign. It's simple: all you have to do is spend a little postage mailing your Gallo corks to the address below, and for every cork received, Gallo Family Vineyards will donate $5 to the Meals On Wheels Association of America's (MOWAA) senior hunger relief efforts.

Corks collected so far (as of this posting): 13,333

For every cork received through Dec. 31, Gallo will make up to $90,000 in donations to Meals On Wheels. An additional $10,000 will be donated through Gallo Family Vineyard's Facebook page.

To make your cork count, place Gallo corks in a padded envelope along with your name, mailing address, birthdate and email address, handprinted on a piece of paper. Mail to:

Every Cork Counts
P.O. Box 1194
Grand Rapids, MN 55745-1194

According to MOWAA, 8.3 million seniors faced the threat of hunger in the U.S. (in 2010). To see what delivered meals can mean to folks in our communities, here's one story.
