Are you exhausted from all the political rhetoric and campaign commercials yet? In this world of 24/7 news cycles, you cannot escape the conversations about the presidential election. It’s on talk radio, cable news, Sunday morning television, and throughout the blogosphere & Twitter.

Yes, we know… this is the most important election of our lifetime.

But, there is another campaign battle waging in California’s wine country that has yet to spark any national attention. It’s a battle for wine consumer’s attention. It’s a choice between red vs. white. One candidate is complex, multi-layered, and always expresses where they come from. The other candidate is more delicate, flowery, crisp, and cool.

American wine consumers have two choices during this election: Pinot Noir or Pinot Grigio.

Redtree Wines has launched Vote Pinot, a social media and in-store promotional campaign resembling a political election to determine whether consumers prefer Pinot Noir or Pinot Grigio. The winery launched a website at www.votepinot.com that allows wine consumers to vote for their favorite Pinot.
