JOB TITLE: Tasting Room Lead/Supervisor
BUSINESS: CADE Estate Winery
REPORTS TO: Hospitality Manager
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE: Assist with the daily operations of CADE Tasting Room.
? Supervision of the tasting room staff
? Oversee scheduling for CADE tasting room staff
? Oversee the opening/closing procedures
? Oversee outreach initiatives
? Coaching team to achieve exceptional customer service by providing information, resolving problems, and answering questions for employees
? Communicate the latest information on the wines, winery and upcoming events to both tasting room staff and guests
? Assist with disciplinary action (if needed)
? Maintain tasting room presentation and housekeeping standards, ensure the tasting room is clean organized and re-stocked
? Work with management team on achieving sales goals
? Inventory management
? Back Office administrative duties
o Order Management
o Customer Service Issue Resolution
o Campaign order entry
? Collaborate with Hospitality Manager and Events Coordinator on all consumer events
JOB KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: High school diploma or equivalent required. English fluency required. Cash Register experience preferred. Two years of Tasting Room or Winery Direct to Consumer experience.
SKILLS AND APTITUDES: Detail oriented. Highly organized and efficient. Safety-minded. High quality standards for production and service. Strong verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of AMS back and front office. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Courteous, friendly and professional manner. Good team player and leader. Customer service & sales focus. Trustworthy and reliable. Must be able to talk in front of large groups. Ability to work weekends and adapt to a flexible schedule.
Works indoors and outdoors throughout shift. Extensive facility, varied terrain.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stands/walks 60% of shift. Moderate to heavy use of phones, daily. Moderate use of stairs, daily.

JOB CLASSIFICATION: The position is classified as Full-Time and, upon completion of the Introductory Period, the employee is eligible for the Employee Benefits outlined in the Employee Handbook. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company reserves the right to amend, change or discontinue the policies, practices and benefits described in the handbook at any time and without notice.
NON EXEMPT POSITION: Non-exempt employees are subject to the wage and hour laws and entitled to overtime pay. All overtime work by a non-exempt employee must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor or the Hotel Manager and the time initialed by him/her on the time card.

This means that the terms and conditions of employment may be changed, with or without cause and with or without notice, including , but not limited to termination, demotion, promotion, transfer, compensation, benefits, duties and location of work.
